“It’s been a long road—and I’ve walked every mile.”
For over a decade, I lived in Ukraine, creating across borders and mediums—as a freelance voice actor, copywriter, graphic novelist, and writer of international stage shows, from acrobatic thrillers to breathtaking aquatic performances. But deep down, through all the journeys, one creative flame never stopped burning:
My first love was Country Music.
It took me two years to find my voice again, but I kept hearing the wisdom of my high school choir teacher, the unforgettable Mrs. B. She taught us that the real instrument was inside us—our voice—and everything else was just accompaniment. She believed in precision, rhythm, harmony, and heart. And thanks to her, I remembered how to rise above the noise.
So thank you, Mrs. B—wherever you are!
From Ukraine’s Front Lines to Nashville Dreams
After thirteen life-changing years in Ukraine—three of them spent in the shadow of war, deep behind the Red Line—I faced a moment of reckoning. I had to make an impossible decision: leave the country and my son behind, not to abandon him, but to build a better life for him in the USA. Due to tightening legal constraints, my only option was to leave… so I could one day bring him with me.
With that heartbreak came a gift: the chance to let all my creative work finally breathe.
Creating Through Crisis
Trapped by conflict but not by spirit, I turned inward. Over the last three years, I’ve thrown myself into everything I dreamed of doing my whole life. I threw myself into writing graphic novels, creating aquatic and acrobatic stage productions, Creating movie screenplays, and finally coming home with country music ready to share with good fans.
From a well of pain, purpose, and passion, I wrote the songs in this book:

It’s a story of longing, timing, and the kind of night that slips away too fast. All he hopes for is one dance before it’s too late.
Backstory:
I remember sitting at a table watching people get up and dance to good songs played from a juke box. I would wrestle with the thought of getting up and asking some nice looking girl across the room if she’d like to dance but I wasn’t that good at it. Half of me just said, “Get up! Go over there and ask her.” and the other half wanted to plan it all out first. By that time the song would be over and people would sit down. The utter awkwardness of simply being alone when I wanted to meet someone was that one battle I used to have with myself. Here’s my version of asking someone to dance. It was usually all in my mind.
